The Nerve Connection Foundation is an Australian charity focused on funding research and clinical trials for rare nerve and muscle diseases. These conditions are devastating, often progressive, and for many of them there is still no cure. The Foundation exists to change that by putting resources directly into the hands of the researchers who are closest to the breakthroughs.
Dr Rob Henderson
Dr Rob Henderson is a leading neurologist based in Brisbane with more than 25 years of experience treating and researching complex nerve and muscle disorders. He founded the Nerve Connection Foundation to solve a simple but critical problem. The science is promising, the ideas are strong, but the funding is not enough to keep the best researchers in the field. Dr Rob’s work connects clinical care, medical research and philanthropy in a way that gives real momentum to finding new treatments.

Supporting this cause is important because these diseases are severe, underfunded and often forgotten. Progress only happens when researchers have the stability and long term funding to fully focus on finding answers.
